Miss Venezuela, Gabriela Isler takes the title of Miss International OLP at Singapore!
Singapore: A 26-year-old stunning beauty at nearly six feet tall from Venezuela, won the title of Miss International OLP held at Singapore.

Gabriela Isler from Maracay in northern Venezuela said in reply to a final question from pageant host Pia Wurtzbach that knowledge is key and that knowledge is a better safe guard of liberty than a standing army. Stunned by her answer, the judges chose Isler as the new Miss International OLP beating the other 26 contestants.

Isler was speechless and was surprised in excitement when Olivia Culpo crowned her as the crowd erupted in cheers and applause at the packed Suntec Singapore. In her profile, she said she would be a person of true strength and dignity and empower those whose liberty is deprived.

However, like in every single competitions, there were those who wasn't very happy about her win. Right after being announced as the new winner of Miss International OLP, Isler received negative criticisms from online trolls (you know who you are). Thus, Isler managed to overcome these trolls like nothing happened and continued to celebrate her victorious win.

What can you say about those negative critics who continuously questions you winning the pageant? And what is your message to them?
"Well I truly respect their opinion, I believe in the freedom of speech [and] that every single person has the right to express their opinions about something and I really do have a lot respect for them... I mean if they want to be a trolled-face bitter gourd, then I respect their dreams!" - Winner
What did you feel when you were announced as the new winner?
"Everything was literally happening so fast. When I was there standing with Renae (Miss Australia) I felt very nervous my hands were shaking and I remember closing my eyes then next thing I know my named was called and then I was crowned. Funning thing was I didn't even hear my name being called properly my mind was just overwhelmed by an ocean of flickering lights."

"I love you! You guys are amazing, you have been my number one supporters since the beginning and I still don't understand what I've done to deserve such angels. Thank you so much for the support, I really hope that I made all of you proud and I just wanted you to all know that you guys are the best!" - Winner

The event concluded with Isler being crowned, while Miss Australia and Miss Colombia finished as 1st runner up and 2nd runner up respectively.
